Marianne & Marco chose a wonderful natural environment like La Joya in Antequera to celebrate their wedding. From Holland they organized everything, ceremony, banquet, photos, video … To meet us we made a video call, we chatted for a while about what their wedding video would be like, they asked me to know more about me and we closed the details of the “timing” of their wedding.
We share a wedding with Miguel Hernández, wedding photographer from Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). We had not agreed before, but as usually happens in these cases in two minutes we were as if we had known each other for life. A pleasure to work with colleagues like him.
The place they have reserved in Hotel Fuente del Sol for the ceremony is an area near the lake, presided over by a tree that sheltered the bride and groom during the wedding. The shade was not necessary because it was a windy day and it made it easier to be in the sun all day.
The place where they gave the cocktail is a walk from the lake, going up to a high area from where the guests enjoy a beautiful view of the fertile plain of Antequera, while they toasted and tasted the cake. The subsequent dinner was set up in the central patio of the house, outdoors and with the guests seated at rectangular tables. The bride and groom passed from table to table, sharing moments with all the guests.
The “cold” night gave way to the dance of the couple who opened the open bar and with it the madness. Between typical Dutch dances and disco songs, the guests at Marianne & Marco’s wedding lived an unrepeatable experience.
